warm up:
T.: Where's Scotland situated? What's its capital ? What do people speak there ?
PP: ( Europe , GreatBritain , UK , Glasgow , English ,..)

Step One Presentation of the theme
T. : Does dinosaurs exist nowadays ? What are they like ? Did they live in Algeria ? When ? Where ? How do you know ?
Let's talk about a lake monster in Scotland that people are asked to visit and see …

Step two: Reading phase
Now , read the text ( page 75) and answer the QQ:
a. The text is an advertisement. It seeks to persuade visitors to come and visit Scotland.
b. PP discuss the question with reference to the text. The author does not state clearly whether s/he believes in the existence of the Loch Ness monster or not. It is not the purpose of the text.


Step three: Comparing cultures

The Algerian song إلى اللّقاء يا إخواني has the same tune as the Scottish song ' Auld lang
